✦The Five Systems · practical playbooks
Contents

The problem it solves: each playbook asks you to pick one system. But the five aren't rivals — each is good at a different job, and they slot together into one day without conflict. This document is the integration.

The rule that makes it safe: never do all five fully in one day — that's overload, and overload is resistance wearing a productivity costume. The combined practice uses

three tiers: a minimal core you never skip, a standard day, and an intensive day. You scale up when you're strong, scale down when you're not, and the core stays non-negotiable.

The division of labor (what each system does)

System Role in the combined day When
Coué The baseline state — the daily "getting better" chant that keeps the whole system humming Waking, before anything else
Haanel The discipline course — concentration + visualization + affirmation, the structured daily anchor Morning, after Coué
Lipton The belief surgery — used only when a specific program is blocking (money, identity, health) Morning theta window, or as needed
Dispenza The deep identity meditation — the biggest session, the state-change work Midday or evening, rested
Neville The end-state + revision — the nightly scene that fixes the whole day's direction Bedtime, last thing

Why this order works:

  • Coué first because it's mechanical and requires zero cognitive load — it primes the state for the harder Haanel block.
  • Haanel after Coué because the mind is already quiet and suggestible.
  • Lipton only when needed because belief surgery is targeted, not daily background (see 06-workbook for which program is yours).
  • Dispenza when rested — its breathwork and state work don't survive exhaustion; don't bolt it onto an exhausted evening.
  • Neville last because it ends the day in the drowsy window, the most powerful planting time, and you sleep in the scene.

The three tiers

Tier 1 — Minimal core (non-negotiable, ~10 min/day)

You run this on the worst days — sick, traveling, behind on work. It is the floor; skipping below it is how streaks die.

Waking (in bed) Coué: general phrase 20× + one specific, monotone, on the counter
Bedtime Neville: the master script (`13`) + end-state scene, loop
                    until you fall asleep

That's it. Two moves. If you only do these two, the system is still running.

Tier 2 — Standard day (~45–55 min/day)

The realistic everyday level. Slots directly into the master schedule in 06-goal-workbook.md.

05:15 Waking (in bed) Coué: 20× general + 20× specific ("I am healthy,
disciplined, and I keep my promises to myself")
05:35 Yoga + Surya Namaskar (per 06)
06:05 Meditation (per 06)
06:25 Haanel block Concentration (5 min) → Visualization (5–8 min) →
                        Affirmation (5 min) — theme = this week's theme
06:45 Training (per 06 split)
15:30 (trading window → no practice inside it; the state is for quiet)
21:00 Neville End-state scene, loop until sleep
21:20 Optional revision: replay the day as you wished it

Tier 3 — Intensive day (~1.5 hr/day)

Adds the deep work. Use when a domain needs a push (a belief is blocking, an identity shift is needed, a plateau).

Everything in Tier 2, with one swap (rule 3 — Lipton is surgical, not daily):
Lipton install replaces the Haanel block on Tier 3 days. Run it in the
drowsy window right after Coué (shift yoga/meditation back ~20 min):
coherent breathing (5 min) → replacement belief 10× → anchor behavior
within minutes. Order fixed: Coué → Lipton → yoga → meditation → training.
13:00 Dispenza Full 40-min protocol (breath → present moment →
enlarge self → amplify → complete the circuit)
21:00 Neville End-state scene + full Revision

Rules for combining (the tiny things that make it work)

  1. Don't stack the same idea twice in a row. Haanel's visualization and Neville's scene both carry your goal — that's fine if they're separated (morning vs night). Back-to-back is redundant and drains the ritual's power.
  2. Coué is the mood, not the method. Use the mechanical chant for state; don't try to do belief surgery with it. That's Lipton's job.
  3. Lipton is surgical, not daily. Belief reprogramming every day is over-installing. Run it in focused 2–4 week blasts on one program at a time, then drop back to Tier 2.
  4. Dispenza and Haanel don't share a session. Both are "big" practices; combining them into one 50-minute block blurs both. Keep them apart (morning Haanel, midday/evening Dispenza).
  5. Never practice inside the trading window. The trading hours are action, not state. Trying to "stay in the feeling" while managing risk positions is how you lose both. The practices support the trader; they don't replace the journal and the stop-loss.
  6. The end-state scene is the same every night. The Neville scene from 06-workbook (Saturday cycling, Switzerland) stays fixed until it feels like a memory. Don't redesign it nightly.
  7. If a day collapses, drop to Tier 1. Not to zero. Tier 1 exists so that a bad day costs you 10 minutes, not a broken streak.

Mapping onto the 06 master schedule (single source of truth)

The 06 schedule is the single source of truth and now includes the combined practice slots (wake is 05:15). The combined practice fills them exactly:

05:15–05:35 Coué (waking, in bed) (anchor, from 07)
05:35–06:05 Yoga + Surya Namaskar (unchanged)
06:05–06:25 Meditation (unchanged)
06:25–06:45 Haanel block (discipline block, from 07)
06:45–07:30 Training (compressed 45 min)
07:30–07:50 Shower, breakfast, family
07:50–12:00 Deep work 1 — AI engineering
… (unchanged through the day)
21:00–21:20 Neville SATS (the night anchor, from 07)
21:20–21:30 Optional Revision (from 07)
22:00 Sleep

Changes to the plain 06 morning: wake 15 minutes earlier (05:15), training compresses to 45 minutes, and the night practice becomes Neville + optional Revision. Everything else — deep work, trading window, family, cycling Saturday — is untouched. On Tier 3 days the Haanel block is swapped for a Lipton install (see Tier 3 above).

Weekly rhythm (with the combined system)

Day Practice tier Notes
Mon–Fri Tier 2 Standard
Sat Tier 3 Long run/strength first; cycling with children 15:00–17:00; evening Neville scene is today's real-life rehearsal
Sun Tier 2 + review Morning practices; 20-min weekly review (hit/miss on non-negotiables, trading journal, savings number, next week's plan); early sleep

When to switch tiers

  • Drop to Tier 1 whenever: illness, travel, a brutal work week, or any day you'd otherwise skip entirely.
  • Rise to Tier 3 when: you feel a plateau, a belief is visibly blocking a domain, or you're entering a make-or-break stretch (e.g., a prop evaluation week, a visa milestone).
  • The rule of the streak: the streak is counted on the non-negotiables (yoga + meditation from 06, Coué + Neville from this doc). Tier 2/3 are bonus depth, not streak material.

This is the maximum integration that doesn't collapse into overload. If you start feeling the practice as a burden rather than a skeleton, drop a tier — the point of combining is strength, not a second job.
